Latest Updates from Our Project:

Container Arrives Chicago May 25
almost 4 years ago – Wed, May 20, 2020 at 05:18:52 PM

The books cleared port and are moving via rail to Chicago. Estimated arrival there is Monday, May 25.

From there, it's notionally about a day to Minneapolis; I presume there will be more stuff that needs to happen...so I'm going to hazard a guess I'll get the shipment late next week.

So hopefully things will start moving at the end of May, with books in hand mid June.

I'll keep y'all updated.

Books are in the USA!
almost 4 years ago – Thu, May 14, 2020 at 03:44:30 PM

They're not at my house yet. That seems to be another four days or so, assuming things go to plan.

But I have word that the ship arrived in port today, and the mass of the pallet (about 750 lbs) is about right for 350 copies each of the two books.

So barring issues with clearing customs and having a pallet delivered to my house rather than a loading dock somewhere (that's decidedly non-trivial, it seems), the books look to arrive Monday or Tuesday.

Podcast! Che Webster and Gaming Ballistic talk a lot about Adventure Design and the Nordlond Sagas
almost 4 years ago – Sat, May 02, 2020 at 06:01:36 PM

I got to talk with Che Webster for the third time about a month ago. We talked about adventure design and a few other topics of interest.

As always, Che is a delight. The interview started at 6am my time, so he helped me focus. Some. That was important. 604 Adventures With Douglas Cole

International physical orders go into the mail on Thursday
almost 4 years ago – Wed, Apr 29, 2020 at 12:16:59 AM

They have been received, sorted, and are being processed. They go into Royal Mail on Thursday, thanks to the nice folks at Kixto.

The other books are (presumably) on the way to me here in Minnesota. They always take a while, and I'll keep you posted when I know more.
